Each year chapter members have the opportunity to apply for the Alfred Dixon and Eugene Delves Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any non-senior brother and can be applied to books, tuition, or school supplies.
The scholarship chair organizes the annual scholarship dinner to award and recognize the academic success of the brotherhood. Apart of the dinner is reserved for a keynote speech, award presentation (highest GPA, most improved, etc.), and a catered meal. Additionally, brothers invite professors, alumni, and administration who have helped brothers throughout the past year.
Each week the scholarship committee votes to award the brother with the greatest academic achievement of the past week. Past achievements include completing senior thesis, receiving an A on a paper or test, and getting an internship or research opportunity.
Winning brothers are recognized with within the chapter and on social media.
Beta Beta Alumni support the academic success of the chapter two ways.
First, through the Alumni Advisory Board's Scholarship Advisor who works with the chapter's Scholarship Officer to organize and plan the academic enrichment program each semester. Second, alumni support active brother as they attempt to apply for internships/jobs by reviewing resumes/cover letters , writing recommendations, and networking.
